The Knight Creative Community Initiative has three cities working with the Creative Class Group: Duluth/Superior, Charlotte, North Carolina and Tallahassee, Florida. Our friends in Florida are moving forward and making real progress with a couple of their projects, most notably a film festival and their Greenovation project. Here’s a link to their update.

Quality Inn allows visitors to go ‘green’

Tallahassee has its first green hotel, according to the Florida Department of Environmental Protection. The Quality Inn and Suites on 2020 Apalachee Parkway was designated a green hotel by the Florida Green Lodging Program on Monday.
