Art Works Update
The Duluth News Tribune writes today about Art Works and the many great efforts coming out of their work to boost the business and economic fortunes of artists, as well as the ways that art will contribute to the overall economy of the Twin Ports Region.

Writer Ann Klefstad finds that the Art Works conference earlier in March had multiple benefits for artists in the region. First it was a chance to network with other artists and talk about possible work/projects that could be done collaboratively. And there are multiple initiatives ranging from a permanent arts alliance to better communication efforts that groups are working on.
The next key date is May 13, when representatives of the many separate groups will get together to share updates and plans.
