Art Works Conference Kicks Off

Just a reminder, the Art Works! Conference begins tonight, Thursday, March 13 at 4 p.m. at the Rothwell Student Center at the University of Wisconsin Superior.

What is the Art Works! event?

It is no secret that a healthy community is a creative community. But finding ways to tap into and support the creative community isn’t always easy for regional businesses to do. ART WORKS! will bring artists and business owners together to discuss and discover how new, creative collaborations can streamline the connection between arts and business.

This event provides an opportunity to collaborate with regional business leaders and to showcase the amazing artwork you do. An ART WORKS! creative economy showcase will take place that artists and arts related entities can participate in. Also, learn and hear from artists in other communities on how they’ve found ways to improve their bottom line by reaching out and collaborating with city and business leaders.

Everyone benefits from a creative community! ART WORKS! aims to engage the artist community and business sector in collaborative efforts to spur greater economic prosperity in the region — something everyone benefits from. This conference provides the springboard for artists, business and community leaders to find ways to work together.
